The previously announced Within the Villainess revealed a new teaser visual and trailer mainly featuring the new cast member, Pina Blance (voiced by Ayane Sakura). Studio Roll2 is animating the series, set to premiere in 2027.
The previously announced cast members are Miyuki Sawashiro as Remilia Rose Graupner and Rie Takahashi as Emi. The main staff consists of:

Makiburo writes the light novel that the anime is based on with illustrations by Mai Murasaki. It was originally published on Shosetsuka ni Naro in May 2020. Ichijinsha acquired the title in February 2021 and published it under their Ichijinsha Novels light novel imprint. Nazuna Shiraume is illustrating the manga adaptation and is serialized on the Pixiv Comic website under Ichijinsha’s Comic Lake.
The story is described as follows:
After losing her life in an accident, Emi is reincarnated as a young noble girl named Remilia Rose Graupner.
Remilia is the most feared villainess in a certain otome game, and Emi’s beloved “fave”.
Moved by the loneliness that once left the original Remilia with nothing but resentment toward the world, Emi resolves to make her happy with her own hands. Through tireless effort and her natural kindness, she gradually brings to those around her.
However, the game’s “original” heroine will not allow it.
