Urahara Continues the Fight Against Nakk Le Vaar in BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 42 Preview

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 4 has revealed the preview for Episode 2 (Episode 42 overall). The anime returned with the fourth and final cour, subtitled The Calamity, on July 25. It is set to run for 10 episodes.

The anime premiered early in US theaters with the first three episodes. The second episode is titled “SON OF DARKNESS,” and you can see the synopsis and preview images below.

The fierce battle between Askin Nakk Le Vaar, Yoruichi, and Urahara continues.

Even Yoruichi’s “Shunko: Raijin Senkei (Thunder God War Form), Shunryu Kokubyo Senki (Flash War Cry: Thunder Beast Battle Form: Flash God Black Cat) is defeated. With the two of them cornered, Nakk Le Vaar closes in after transforming into his Quincy: Vollständig, “God’s Poison Taster.”

Meanwhile, Ichigo and Orihime reach the top floor of Wahrwelt and confront Yhwach at his throne. Yhwach’s and Haschwalth’s powers switch places only during the night. Even without “The Almighty,” Yhwach continues to smile fearlessly…

Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and concluded with 74 volumes. The manga has exceeded 130 million copies in circulation worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and received four theatrical films. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Its final part (Part 4) is set to release in July. Tite Kubo has confirmed it will include even more original material than the previous parts, expanding the manga’s final battles.

On a related note, BLEACH: Mirrors High revealed its protagonists in a new trailer, with the game featuring original character designs by Tite Kubo.
