The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring TV anime released two new character trailers featuring heroine Mifuyu Yukino and the male lead Satoru Takahashi. The anime previously confirmed an October 2026 release date along with the main staff and voice cast.
The first promotional video (PV) spotlights Mifuyu, voiced by Rikka Kitami. The version released on YouTube is a censored edition, while an uncensored “Premium Version” will stream exclusively through AnimeFesta.
The second one features Satoru Takahashi, voice by Harumichi Shito.
Based on the manga by Puzaki Puna, The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring is set in a modern world where humans and yokai coexist. The story follows Satoru Takahashi, a young apartment manager who inherits a housing complex built for supernatural residents. After accidentally upsetting Mifuyu, a widowed snow woman he secretly admires, Satoru uses a mysterious ring said to improve communication with yokai. Instead, the artifact causes Mifuyu to become more forward, completely changing their relationship.
The anime voice cast includes:
- Rikka Kitami as Mifuyu Yukino
- Harumichi Shito as Satoru Takahashi
- Sara Ayumi as Kaede Kiryuin
The adaptation is directed by Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-Girlfriend, The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases), with Miyako Nishida as chief animation director and Eeyo Kurosaki in charge of the series composition. Character designs are by Mina Kyawa Akapi v, while studio HoKIBOSHI handling the animation under Suiseisha.
