My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With Anime Teaser Visual Revealed

The upcoming TV anime My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With has revealed its first teaser visual following the adaptation’s announcement earlier this year.

The visual features the legendary Sword Saint Liza blushing with a sword, and you can check it out below.

Based on the light novel by Kennoji with illustrations by R_Ringo, the romantic comedy follows Eugene, who begins living with his former master Liza after she retires from adventuring. While Liza is an unrivaled swordswoman, she is surprisingly clumsy in everyday life, and her constant, unintentional displays of affection leave Eugene flustered.

Seven Seas will release Volume 1 of the manga in English in June 2027. They describe the story:
One young man’s desire to become strong leads him to live and train with a powerful Sword Saint. While she’s got plenty of physical prowess and strength, her ditzy personality and stunning looks make her hard to resist! A fun and sexy rom-com manga that will get your blood flowing.

The anime is being produced under Deregula, an animation label focused on more mature-themed works.

To commemorate the adaptation, illustrator R_Ringo shared a special celebratory illustration, while original author Kennoji said the series had always been written with the hope of eventually receiving an anime adaptation. You can read both comments and see the illustration below.

I wrote this story with the goal of someday getting an anime adaptation, but I never actually thought it would really happen. When I first heard the news, I was incredibly surprised and happy! I have nothing but gratitude for everyone who has been involved with this work. I’m also really looking forward to watching the anime as a viewer myself. There are plans to release more and more updates from here on, so please look forward to those as well!

R_Ringo:
