Aito Aoyagi’s fairy tale mystery novel series Little Red Riding Hood Meets a Corpse on Her Journey (Akazukin, Tabi no Tochu de Shitai to Deau.) is getting a TV anime adaptation in 2027. A teaser visual and trailer were revealed, along with the first cast and staff.
Yume Miyamoto will voice Little Red Riding Hood, with Akira Sekine as Pinocchio. The teaser visual shows the English title Red Riding Hood: A Detective Story and features the two character. You can check it out below.
The series mxies familiar fairy tale settings with mystery storytelling. It follows the traveling Little Red Riding Hood as she encounters crimes and other mysteries throughout the fairy tale world and attempts to uncover the truth behind them. The teaser trailer shows her questioning a culprit’s poor criminal plan.
Studio BENTEN Film, which was recently acquired by AI animation company Creator’s X, is in charge of the animation. The main staff includes:

The franchise has also received a manga adaptation by Noka Tanaka and was previously adapted into a live-action Netflix film titled Once Upon a Crime.
