Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! Anime Reveals Main Trailer and Opening Song, October 3 Premiere

The TV anime adaptation of Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! will premiere on October 3, 2026, with the first main trailer revealing the opening theme song. Its official English title is There Is Also a Hole in the Student Organization! The anime was announced in April 2025.

The opening theme is “Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkya Nai!” performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia. Noko and Sangatsu no Phantasia vocalist Mia wrote the lyrics, while Noko composed the song. A preview of the song can be heard in the new trailer, which you can watch below.

Naoyuki Tatsuwa is directing the anime at Passione, with Ryo Imamura handling the character designs. Masahiro Yokotani is responsible for the series composition and scripts, while Tomoki Kikuya is composing the music.

The main voice cast includes:

Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! is based on the manga by Muchimaro, which is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The comedy follows Ume Mizunoe, a student who joins the student council in an attempt to improve his academic record, only to find himself surrounded by its eccentric members. Seven Seas licensed the manga in English, describing the story:

In a student council filled with weirdos, one new member is about to have a hell of a school year!

Mizunoe Ume just wanted to avoid repeating a grade when he joined the student council. After all, it seemed like an easy fix to his current academic problems. But then, he met his fellow council members. Each of them is eccentric in their own way—one’s an airhead, another’s scary, one’s secretly a pervert, but all in all, they’re just really weird! Yet somehow, they’re also oddly cute and endearing. Which means Mizunoe is stuck with them and all the chaos they bring to the table.
