Tank Chair Anime Reveals Main Trailer, Theme Opening Song by SiM, New Cast, October 4 Premiere

TANK CHAIR anime revealed its key visual and main trailer, along with an October 4, 2026 premiere date. The anime also introduced additional cast members and confirmed SiM and Daoko as the theme song artists. Two new cast members were announced:

• Yurina Amami as Dr. Radio
• Gen Sato as Uzu

The voice actor for Sensei will be announced at a later date. The new trailer features the opening theme song “DALALA” by SiM, and you can check it out below.

Studio Polygon Pictures (Knights of Sidonia) is in charge of the animation, with the following main staff:

Tank Chair is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Manabu Yashiro. It began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app in November 2022. Kodansha USA is releasing it in English, describing the story of Volume 1:

Living on Guicheng Island, called “the most dangerous town in the universe,” is no easy task. Genetic doping is common for gangs to gain ultimate power. Shizuka, a young girl, takes on the most dangerous of assassin jobs, but she’s not the one doing the killing. Rather, it’s her brother, Nagi, a strong assassin who took a bullet to protect his sister, leaving him in a comatose state and having to use a wheelchair. However, Shizuka has figured out the key to waking her brother up: he must be faced with murderous intent! Thus begins a violent journey of recovery, battling the most dangerous foes!
