anime corner’s seiyuu seasonal poll is here once again, as the Summer 2022 anime season slowly wraps up. This time around, the poll had a total of 58 nominees, with 32 female and 26 male Japanese voice actors. Over 12,000 people voted in this season’s polls and the results are now in so without further ado, here are the top voice actors for the Summer 2022 anime!
Female Seiyuu of the Season – Summer 2022
After being nominated for the first time ever, Chika Anzai was crowned as the best female seiyuu of summer anime 2022 for her role as Chisato Nishikigi from Lycoris Recoil. Following her in second place is her co-star Shion Wakayama who voiced Chisato’s partner in crime, Takina Inoue. This is the second time Wakayama was nominated and she previously won the 7th place in the 2021 Fall season. Ayana Taketatsu managed to enter the top three as Kei Karuizawa from Classroom of the Elite Season 2.

Male Seiyuu of the Season – Summer 2022
Shoya Chiba, the voice actor of Ayanokoji from Classroom of the Elite Season 2, solidified the first-place spot by a huge margin this season. Up there in second place is Yoshitsugu Matsuoka who voiced the antagonist Majima in Lycoris Recoil and the protagonist Bell Cranel from Danmachi IV. This is the second time that the voice actor claimed second place on the seasonal seiyuu polls, the first one being last summer. Hiro Shimono who voiced Mizuto Irido (My Stepmom’s Daughter is My Ex) and Hanzo Urushihara (The Devil is Part-Timer!
