RADWIMPS has released a special live performance video of “Tamamono” from its RADWIMPS 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR, giving an early look at the concert ahead of its worldwide debut on Netflix on June 20.
The performance was recorded at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena on December 27, 2025, during the final stop of the band’s nationwide 20th anniversary arena tour. The concert featured 21 songs, including an encore, and served as the culmination of a sold-out run that covered 17 arena shows in nine major cities in Japan.
“Tamamono” is one of three songs from the band’s latest album Anew performed during the show, alongside “MAAFAKA” and “Hitsu Zetsu.” The setlist also included some of RADWIMPS’ most recognizable tracks, such as “Sparkle,” “Tummy,” and “Iindesuka?”
One of the night’s most emotional moments came during the encore, when drummer Satoshi Yamaguchi, who is on hiatus from regular band activities, made a surprise appearance. Reuniting on stage with the band, he performed RADWIMPS’ major-label debut single “25kome No Senshokutai.”
In addition to the upcoming Netflix release, the concert is set to receive a Blu-ray and DVD release on August 12. The physical edition will include exclusive bonus content from three special Yokohama Arena performances held from November 22 to 24, featuring collaborations with BUMP OF CHICKEN, Vaundy, and YOASOBI.
The home video release will also feature performances of two songs from Anew that were not included in the Ariake Arena concert, “How should I” from the Nagano performance and “Echo in the Ruins” from the Nagoya stop. International pre-orders for the Blu-ray and DVD are expected to open soon on the band’s overseas store.
Formed in 2001 and making their major-label debut in 2005, RADWIMPS has become one of Japan’s most successful rock bands. The group achieved global recognition through its collaborations with filmmaker Makoto Shinkai on the blockbuster animated films Your Name., Weathering with You, and Suzume, earning Japanese Academy Awards for Best Original Score for all three projects.
