The production committee behind Now That We Draw has revealed the opening song for the upcoming ecchi rom-com. Shallm will perform “Kimiiro Hirari.” The band debuted the song during a performance on their ANTI AFTER SCHOOL EP tour.
Of the OP, Lia, Shallm’s vocalist, said
“I’m truly delighted and honored to work on the opening for Now That We Draw (Kakunaru Ue wa). After reading the original work, I felt not only its charm as a rom-com but also the wonder of chasing dreams together with someone. Since I’m pursuing my dreams, I could relate to the two protagonists on many levels. I created the song while cherishing the emotions the manga gave me. I’d be happy if you enjoy “Kimiiro Hirari” along with the series.”

Kakunaru Ue wa is based on the manga by Kyu Takahata and Yuwji Kaba. Young Animal magazine (Hakusensha) has serialized the manga since its February 2023 premiere. The ongoing manga currently boasts eight volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment has published the first six volumes of the manga in English.
