Naruto Card Game Gets Trailer Animated by Pierrot, Sets Worldwide June 2027 Launch, Reveals Starter Decks and First Booster Pack

Bandai Card Games has announced that NARUTO CARD GAME will launch simultaneously worldwide in June 2027, following its debut at Gen Con 2026. The release plans were detailed during New York Comic Con, alongside the game’s first Starter Decks, Booster Pack and demo campaign. The game previously shared the first gameplay details and card designs in July.

Three Starter Decks will be available at launch, led by Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara. Each pre-constructed deck will include the cards needed to begin playing and is built around a different Leader with its own lineup of ninjas and play style.

The first Booster Pack, titled Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!, will also launch in June. It features characters from both NARUTO and NARUTO SHIPPUDEN, along with new ninjas, techniques and other cards designed to expand Starter Decks and support custom deck building.

New card illustrations were also revealed during the NYCC presentation.

A new teaser featuring original artwork by Studio Pierrot was also shown at the event. You can check it out below.

Ahead of launch, Premier Demo Events will begin at participating trading card game stores in February 2027. The events are designed to introduce players to the rules and will initially appear at select large-scale stores participating in Bandai TCG+, with additional locations planned later.

Two event-exclusive products were also announced: the advance-release Official Playmat – NARUTO VS. SASUKE – and Premium Card Collection Vol.00 – CHAKRA Set. Both will be available through Premier Demo Events and select Bandai Card Games Fest 26-27 events, including Orlando and London.

Bandai will also launch a worldwide campaign in Spring 2027 to distribute a total of 1 million Demo Decks, giving players another opportunity to learn the game before its full release.

The next big update for the game is scheduled for Jump Festa 2027 in December.
