Glasses with a Chance of Delinquent TV anime has revealed its first teaser visuals and main staff, with the series scheduled to premiere in 2027.
Based on Naruki’s manga, the story follows Momose, a girl determined to enjoy a peaceful high school life away from delinquents and troublemakers. Penguin Random House licensed the manga in English, describing the story of the first volume:
Momose has always longed for a peaceful high school life. She wants nothing to do with hoodlums, delinquents, or troublemakers. When she meets Ichikura, an inconspicuous black-haired boy with glasses, he looks like a normal, nice guy. But it turns out that back in junior high he was a nefarious delinquent!
He keeps assuring her that he’s changed his ways, but he’s still pretty quick to pick fights! Has Ichikura really turned over a new leaf? And will Momose keep quiet about his rowdy past?
Two teaser visuals were unveiled for the adaptation. One features the main duo of Momose and Ichikura, while the second one brings them together with Igarashi, Sakyo, Yachiyo, and Yataro.
Makoto Hoshino is directing the anime, with Megumi Shimizu handling series composition and Ruriko Watanabe serving as character designer. Animation production is being handled jointly by Studio flad and Wao World.
