Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga has officially ended after over 11 years of serialization in today’s issue of Jump GIGA 2026 SPRING. The magazine released in Japan on May 1, 2026. The series appeared on the cover and as the lead color feature, with three consecutive chapters published at once.

The chapters covered the long-awaited final confrontation between Asta and Yuno as they compete for the title of Wizard King. You can see the lead color page below.

The Black Clover manga was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 2015 to August 2023, before transferring to Jump GIGA. It entered its final arc in August 2022. The manga is available to read on Viz Media’s website, MANGA Plus website, and the Shonen Jump mobile app in English. 

It received a 170-episode anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot, which ran from 2017 to 2021. The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King movie premiered on June 16 and is streaming on Netflix. Crunchyroll streams the TV anime, and they describe the story:

In a world where magic is everything, Asta and Yuno are both found abandoned at a church on the same day. While Yuno is gifted with exceptional magical powers, Asta is the only one in this world without any. At the age of fifteen, both receive grimoires, magic books that amplify their holder’s magic. Asta’s is a rare Grimoire of Anti-Magic that negates and repels his opponent’s spells. Being opposite but good rivals, Yuno and Asta are ready for the hardest of challenges to achieve their common dream: to be the Wizard King. Giving up is never an option!

Season 2 of the anime is set to release this year.
