Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 has been officially announced, revealing a teaser visual featuring Fate and Roxy. The first season ran for 12 episodes from October to December 2023, with animation by studio ACGT.
The announcement visual for Season 2 features Fate and the Holy Knight Roxy holding hands to form the number “2.” Roxy is shown in a new outfit, which is set to debut in the sequel. Check that out below.

Ichika Isshiki is the original author of the Berserk of Gluttony (Boushoku no Berserk: Ore Dake Level to Iu Gainen o Toppa Sur) series, which first started as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. It is currently serialized by Micro Magazine as a novel in GC Novels and GCN Bunko with illustrations by fame. There is also a manga adaptation, which has art by Daisuke Takino. The total circulation has surpassed 2.2 million copies.
The official synopsis:
In a world where the superiority of skills is absolute, a boy named Fate is scorned and belittled for his incompetence. This is because his skill, “Gluttony,” is completely useless except for making him hungry. Fate is forced to live at the bottom of society, enduring violence and being burdened with menial tasks by the prestigious Brellick family, who are among the highest-ranking Holy Knights in this world. The only solace he finds is in Roxy Heart, who, despite also being a Holy Knight, treats him with respect and kindness.
However, everything changes when Fate accidentally kills a thief who infiltrates the castle while accompanying Roxy. In that moment, his Gluttony skill activates, allowing him to steal the opponent’s power and abilities. Fate’s skill is an incredible ability to take away skills and abilities from those he kills. Empowered by his newfound fighting abilities, Fate encounters Greed, a sentient sword with a skill known as “Greed,” also associated with one of the Deadly Sins. Together, they step into a world of conflict and struggle.
Driven by the desire to protect his loved ones and defy the unjust world, Fate devours his enemies in order to consume their power. The destiny of this once-lowly boy, crawling on the ground, rapidly begins to unfold.
