Masami Obari directed the series, Keigo Koyanagi was responsible for the series composition, Kamokamen came up with the original draft for the character designs, and Kouichi Motomura was responsible for how the character designs appeared in the anime. The anime is described on the official website: In an era when humanoid armored weapons called “Titanstride” (aka “TS”) have advanced. Militaries from various countries gather on Oahu Island, Hawaii. Isami Ao of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and Lewis Smith of the U.S. Marine Corps encounter each other amidst combat. Suddenly attacked by an unidentified unit, the soldiers scatter helplessly. Stake your pride and fight. To survive on the battlefield beside death. To save your comrades.
